مطالعه فعالیت ضد باکتریایی و دیگر خواص کاغذ پوشش داده شده با نانوذرات سلنیوم

چکیده

امروزه محققین در تمامی زمینه‌ها به دنبال تولید محصولات جدید با استفاده از فن‌آوری‌های نوین ازجمله نانو فن‌آوری هستند. هدف از انجام این تحقیق بررسی عملکرد نانوذرات سلنیوم در فرمولاسیون پوشش دهی کاغذ به‌منظور بهبود خواص ضد باکتری، فیزیکی، ممانعتی و مکانیکی کاغذ می‌باشد. کاغذها با نانوذرات سلنیوم در غلظت‌های ppm 200 و 100 همراه با نشاسته کاتیونی پوشش داده شدند. سطح کاغذ با استفاده از ATR-FTIR و SEM موردبررسی قرار گرفت. نتایج نشان دادند که نانوذرات سلنیوم اثر مطلوبی در ممانعت از رشد هر دو نوع باکتری استافیلوکوکوس اورئوس و اشرشیا‌کلی داشته و در سطوح مصرف برابر، رشد باکتری استافیلوکوکوس اورئوس در مقایسه با باکتری اشرشیا‌کلی به مقدار بیشتری کاهش‌یافته است. به طوریکه میزان رشد باکتری‌های استافیلوکوکوس اورئوس در نمونه‌های شاهد و کاغذهای پوشیده شده با نانو ذرات سلنیوم ppm 200 به ترتیب 93/91٪ و 8٪ بود. در بررسی خصوصیات فیزیکی کاغذها، نتایج نشان دادند که ضخامت و دانسیته کاغذ و وزن پوشش‌ها در کاغذهای پوشش داده‌شده با نشاسته کاتیونی و نانوذراتنسبت به نمونه کاغذ بدون پوشش، افزایش‌یافته است. میزان جذب آب و سرعت عبور بخارآب در نمونه‌های پوشش داده‌شده با نانوسلنیوم کمتر از نمونه‌های پوشش داده‌شده با نشاسته بوده و پوشش‌دهنده‌ها تأثیر معنی‌داری بر میزان مقاومت به عبور هوا در کاغذ داشته‌اند. افزایش غلظت نانو ذرات نیز تأثیر معنی‌داری بر مقدار شاخص مقاومت به ترکیدگی و مقاومت به پارگی کاغذها نیز نداشته است.
