تاثیر اسیدزدایی کاغذ با نانو هیدروکسید کلسیم و نانو هیدروکسی آپاتیت همراه با نانو سلولز و نانو کیتوزان، بر خواص ضدقارچی آن

چکیده

عوامل متعددی منجر به تخریب سلولز می‌شوند که هیدرولیز اسیدی از مهمترین این عوامل به شمار می‌رود. بسیاری از کتابهای تاریخی به مرور زمان به خاطر هیدرولیز اسیدی و افت درجه بسپارش سلولز، تخریب می‌شوند. به همین دلیل اسیدزدایی از کاغذهای نفیس قدیمی به منظور توقف و خنثی کردن این فرایند و نیز اعمال تیمارهای استحکام بخشی ضروری است. از آنجایی که کاغذ محیط مناسبی برای رشد برخی قارچ‌ها محسوب می‌شود، استفاده از تیمار حفاظتی مناسبی که بتواند علاوه بر افزایش pH و قلیایی نمودن کاغذ تا حد مطلوب، موجب افزایش مقاومت کاغذ و توقف یا کندتر شدن رشد قارچ‌های مخرب شود، مورد توجه بوده است. در این پژوهش به منظور اسیدزدایی کاغذ و تقویت بافت آن با استفاده از پراکنده سازی نانوهیدروکسید کلسیم و نانو هیدروکسی آپاتیت همراه با نانوسلولز و نانوکیتوزان در حلال الکلی (اتانول)، یک نانو پوشش بر روی سطوح کاغذ نمونه اعمال شد. برای بررسی خواص ضد قارچی، کاغذهای تیمار شده با استفاده از قارچ آسپرژیلوس در معرض شرایط کهنگی بیولوژیکی قرار گرفتند. برای این منظور پس از تهیه محیط کشت، کاغذهای تیمار شده در پلیتهای جداگانه تلقیح شدند و پس از طی کردن دوران نهفتگی، میزان رشد قارچ بر روی نمونه ها مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. همچنین آزمون مقاومت کششی هم بر روی نمونه‌های تیمار شده انجام گرفت. نتایج نشان داد که تیمارهای اسیدزدایی با ایجاد شرایط قلیایی، منجر به افزایش pH کاغذ شده و کاغذ تیمار شده با ترکیب نانو هیدروکسید کلسیم – نانوکیتوزان و نیز نمونه‌های تیمار شده با نانوهیدروکسی آپاتیت دارای کمترین میزان آلودگی قارچی بودند. کاغذهای تیمار شده با نانوهیدروکسید کلسیم همراه با نانو کیتوزان مقاومت کششی نیز خواص بهتری از خود نشان دادند و استفاده از نانوسلولز در تیمارها هرچند از مقاومت کمتری در برابر آلودگی قارچی برخوردار بود اما منجر به بهبود مقاومت کششی در کاغذهای تیماری شد.
