For this purpose wooden samples with dimension 25mm width, 35 mm thickness and 350 mm length from three species were prepared. After three weeks storage in climate room, in order to form finger joint pattern, samples were cut at the half of length. Then the finger joint pattern was done in new exposed cross sections of samples. After that the joints were bonded with three PVAc glue types; pure, with 10% and with 20 % hardener. The second variable of study was open time that was controlled in two levels of 2 and 4 minutes. The clos time and press time were constant which were adjusted on 2 and 30 minutes respectively. The joints were pressed in a special wooden frame by hand clamp. After making joints, they were stored in climate room for three weeks and then the three point bending test was carried out according to ISO 10983. The results showed that by adding isocyanate hardener up to 20% the bending strength increases significantly. The longer open time could not improve bending strength even it caused strength dropping in some treats but this changes were not significant. The strength of joints made with poplar wood was lower than beech and fir although this difference was not significant statistically. Finally the best condition for making this joint was determined by application of 2 min open time and using 10 % PU resin as hardener.}, keywords = {Finger joint,open time,isocyanate hardener,bending strength,PVAc glue}, title_fa = {بهبود عملکرد چسب پلی وینیل استات در اتصالات انگشتی چوب با استفاده از هاردنر ایزوسیانات}, abstract_fa = {هدف از انجام این تحقیق دسترسی به ترکیبی از چسب چوب با مقاومت مکانیکی بالاتر و در عین حال هزینه مناسب برای استفاده در اتصالات انگشتی چوب است. در این مطالعه اثر زمان مونتاژ و مقدار هاردنر ایزوسیانات در ترکیب با چسب چوب بر مقاومت خمشی اتصالات انگشتی ساخته شده از سه گونه چوبی راش، صنوبر و نراد مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. برای این منظور نمونه-های چوبی با عرض 25، ضخامت 35 و طول 350 میلی‌متر از هر سه گونه آماده شدند. نمونه‌ها برای ایجاد الگوی اتصال انگشتی از طول به دو نیم برش داده شدند و اتصال انگشتی توسط ابزار مخصوص بر روی دو مقطع عرضی جدید ایجاد گردید. سپس اتصالات با استفاده از سه نوع چسب چوب خالص، حاوی 10 درصد هاردنر و 20 درصد هاردنر چسبانده شدند. زمان مونتاژ بعنوان متغیر دوم آزمایش در دو سطح 2 و 4 دقیقه انتخاب گردید. زمان مونتاژ بسته و زمان پرس از عوامل ثابت بودند که به ترتیب 2 دقیقه و 30 دقیقه تنظیم گردید. اتصالات در یک قالب چوبی مخصوص و با استفاده از پیچ دستی تحت فشار قرار گرفتند. پس از متعادل‌سازی رطوبت، آزمون خمش سه نقطه ای طبق استاندارد ISO 10983 بر روی آنها انجام گردید. نتایج نشان داد که استفاده از هاردنر تا سطح 20 درصد، مقاومت خمشی اتصال را به‌طور معنی‌دار افزایش می‌دهد. افزایش زمان مونتاژ نتوانست موجب بهبود مقاومت اتصال شود و در مواردی باعث افت مقاومت نیز شد.اتصالات ساخته شده با گونه صنوبر نسبت به دو گونه راش و نراد از مقاومت کمتری برخوردار بود هرچند این اختلاف از لحاظ آماری معنی دار نبود. در نهایت بهترین شرایط برای ساخت این اتصال، بکارگیری 2 دقیقه زمان مونتاژ باز و استفاده از 10 درصد هاردنر ایزوسیانات تعیین گردید.}, keywords_fa = {اتصال انگشتی,زمان مونتاژ,هاردنر ایزوسیانات,مقاومت خمشی اتصال}, url = {https://www.ijwp.ir/article_31854.html}, eprint = {https://www.ijwp.ir/article_31854_8814a6e9e418626af298790af8306b3a.pdf} }
