بررسی تاثیر ضدقارچ تیوفانات متیل بر کهنه‌سازی مرکب مازو کاغذهای تاریخی

چکیده

حفاظت و نگهداری از آثار کاغذی به عنوان میراث فرهنگی و تاریخی در مقابل عوامل آسیب‌رسان از‌جمله میکروارگانیسم‌ها دارای اهمیت بالایی است. ضدقارچ تیوفانات‌متیل در غلظت 200PPM می‌تواند بدون ایجاد تاثیرات منفی، قارچ‌های مخرب کاغذ را مهار کند. لازم است جهت تکمیل مطالعات انجام گرفته، تاثیر آن بر روی دیگر مواد به کار رفته در کاغذ از جمله مرکب نیز بررسی گردد. در این پژوهش اثر ضدقارچ تیوفانات‌متیل بر مرکب مازو که از پرکاربردترین مرکب‌های تاریخ است، بررسی می‌شود. بدین‌منظور پس از ساخت مرکب و قرار‌دادن لایه‌ای از آن در سطح کاغذ فیلتر، نمونه‌ها در محلول حاوی تیوفانات‌متیل-اتانول غوطه‌ور شدند. مطالعات آزمایشگاهی انجام‌شده پس از پیرسازی‌تسریعی نمونه‌ها شامل آزمون‌های pH متری، رنگ‌سنجی، مقاومت کششی و طیف‌سنجی ATR-FTIR و بررسی نمونه‌ها با تصویربرداری میکروسکوپ الکترونی (SEM) است. طبق نتایج بدست آمده ضدقارچ تیوفانات‌متیل در غلظت 200PPM باعث ایجاد تغییرات رنگی و روشن شدن مرکب شده است. بنابراین بهتر است در صورت استفاده از این ماده، تیمار به روش اسپری انجام گیرد. همچنین نتایج pH متری نشان داد که کاغذ مرکب به شدت اسیدی است و این امر موجب هیدرولیز شدن کاغذ و در نتیجه کاهش مقاومت آن شده است. نتایج کلی حاکی از این است که اگرچه این قارچ‌کش سبب محافظت کاغذ و مرکب در برابر حملات قارچ-ها می‌شود، اما اثرات نامطلوبی بر مرکب مازو دارد که باید مورد توجه قرار گیرد.
