Wild service tree (Sorbus torminalis L.) is a rare and valuable tree species in Hyrcanian and Arasbaran forests. This study were investigated some anatomical, biometrical, physical and chemical properties of wild service wood. Wood samples were cut from Sangdeh forests of Mazandaran. Studies have shown that wild service tree is extremely compact and dense; its average density is 832 kg m-3 and its shrinkage is about 16%. Growth rings boundaries are indistinct. From anatomical view, it is a diffuse-porosity wood and its vessels are exclusively solitary, long (999 microns), narrow (55 microns) and are not visible with naked eye in transverse section. Growth ring boundaries can be distinguished by only two to three compact fiber layers. Rays parenchyma is heterogeneous, exclusively 2-seriate (partially uniseriate). The fibers are of vascular tracheids type with an average length and cell wall thickness of 1575 and 9.33 micron, respectively. The content of cellulose, lignin, extractives and ash were 49.8, 18.9, and 2.3 percent, respectively. Preservation of valuable tree species of the northern forests such as wild service tree should be on the agenda of natural resource custodians.}, keywords = {Wild service tree,Mazandaran,anatomy,Fiber biometry,Hyrcanian forests}, title_fa = {ویژگی‌های آناتومی، بیومتری، فیزیکی و شیمیایی چوب درخت بارانک (مطالعه‌ی موردی: جنگل های سنگده مازندران)}, abstract_fa = {مطالعات بنیادی بر روی چوب درختان و درختچه‌های جنگلی می‌تواند امکان استفاده از آنها را در مصارف مختلف آشکار سازد، یا منجر به ایجاد بانک اطلاعاتی گونه‌های مختلف چوبی کشور ‌شود. بارانک (Sorbus tominalis L.) از گونه‌های درختی کمیاب و با ارزش جنگل‌های هیرکانی و ارسباران است. در این مطالعه برخی ویژگی‌های آناتومی، بیومتری، فیزیکی و شیمیایی چوب درخت بارانک مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. نمونه های مورد استفاده در این تحقیق از دیسک درختان قطع شده در جنگل‌های سنگده استان مازندران تهیه شدند. بررسی ها نشان داد درخت بارانک دارای چوبی بسیار فشرده و متراکم (با دانسیته kg m-3832) و همکشیدگی بالایی (83/15 درصد) است. چوب بارانک به علت نبود مرز مشخص بین حلقه‌های سالانه به طور ظاهری نقوش برجسته‌ای ندارد. این چوب از نظر آناتومی کاملاً پراکنده آوند بوده و عناصر آوندی آن اغلب منفرد می‌باشند. آوند‌ها بلند و باریک بوده و اثری از آنها با چشم غیر مسلح در برش عرضی چوب دیده نمی‌شود. مرز حلقه‌های رویشی در این چوب تنها با دو تا سه ردیف فیبر فشرده‌ی چوب پایان قابل تمایز است. پره‌های چوبی ناهمگن و اغلب دو ردیفه و گاهی تک ردیفه هستند و نقش خاصی در برش‌های مختلف چوب ندارند. الیاف این گونه از نوع فیبر تراکئید بوده و میانگین طول و ضخامت دیواره آنها به ترتیب 1575 و 33/9 میکرون اندازه‌گیری شد. میانگین مقادیر سلولز، لیگنین، مواد استخراجی و خاکستر این چوب نیز به ترتیب 8/49، 9/18، 3/2 و 8/0درصد بود. حفظ گونه‌های با ارزش جنگل‌های شمال از جمله بارانک، باید در دستور کار متولیان منابع طبیعی قرار بگیرد.}, keywords_fa = {آناتومی,بارانک,بیومتری الیاف,جنگل‌های هیرکانی,مازندران}, url = {https://www.ijwp.ir/article_32055.html}, eprint = {https://www.ijwp.ir/article_32055_43b22e64ccff2c07fe93fe30eb486f7e.pdf} }
