This study aimed to investigate the effect of maleated lignin-based polyacid (MA-PL) as a catalyst in urea-lignin-glyoxal (ULG) resin. For this reason, a phenolate reaction was done to increase the hydroxyl groups of lignin. Then the modified lignin was reacted with maleic anhydride to obtain polyacid based on maleated lignin. In the next step, different content of MA-PL catalyst (0, 1, 2, and 3 wt%) was added to ULG resin and prepared resins were used in particleboard panels production. Different properties of synthesized resins and panels were measured according to standard methods and were compared with those using ammonium chloride as the control sample. In addition, the thermal behavior of resin before and after adding catalyst was analyzed with Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Generally, the results of this research indicated that polyacids based lignin could be used as a suitable catalyst for ULG resin. Physical and mechanical test analysis indicated that the addition of catalyst from zero to 3 wt% continuously decrease pH and gelation time. DSC analysis showed that adding extra MA-PL reduces the curing temperature of resin compared with ammonium chloride. Based on the obtained results from manufactured panels, mechanical strength (MOE, MOR, and IB strength) and dimensional stability of the panels was improved by adding 3 wt% MA-PL.}, keywords = {Polyacid,catalyst,wood adhesive,Physical and mechanical properties,Lignin}, title_fa = {استفاده از پلی‌اسید حاصل از لیگنین مالئیک‌دار شده به‌عنوان کاتالیزور در چسب اوره- لیگنین- گلی‌اکسال}, abstract_fa = {در حال حاضر یافتن کاتالیزور باکیفیت بالا و دوستدار محیط‌زیست برای چسبهای گرماسخت از اهمیت بالایی برخوردار میباشد. هدف از این تحقیق، بررسی تأثیر استفاده از پلیاسید حاصل از لیگنین مالئیکدار شده به‌عنوان کاتالیزور در چسب اوره- لیگنین- گلیاکسال میباشد. به همین منظور در مرحله اول، واکنش فنولاسیون لیگنین به‌منظور افزایش گروههای هیدروکسیل انجام شد. سپس لیگنین اصلاح شده با مالئیک انیدرید واکنش داده شد تا پلیاسید بر پایه لیگنین مالئیکدار شده حاصل گردد. در مرحله بعد، مقادیر متفاوت کاتالیزور تولیدی (0،1،2 و 3 درصد) به چسب اوره- لیگنین- گلیاکسال اضافه گردید و چسب تهیه‌شده در ساخت تخته خرده چوب استفاده شد. ویژگیهای مختلف چسب و تخته تولیدی مطابق روشهای استاندارد اندازه‌گیری شد و با تخته‌هایی که در آنها از کاتالیزور کلرید آمونیوم استفاده‌شده بود (به‌عنوان نمونه شاهد) مقایسه گردید. همچنین رفتار حرارتی چسب قبل و بعد از افزودن کاتالیزور با استفاده از دستگاه آنالیز گرماسنج روبشی تفاضلی (DSC) موردبررسی قرار گرفت. به‌طورکلی نتایج این تحقیق نشان داد که پلی اسید حاصل از لیگنین مالئیکدار شده میتواند به‌عنوان کاتالیزور مؤثر برای چسب اوره- لیگنین- گلی‌اکسال مورداستفاده قرار گیرد. نتایج بررسیهای فیزیکی شیمیایی چسب نشان داد که با افزایش میزان کاتالیست تا 3 درصد، میزان pH و زمان ژلهای شدن چسب به‌طور پیوسته کاهش می‌یابد. آنالیز DSC نشان داد که افزودن کاتالیست پلی اسید موجب کاهش بیشتر دمای انعقاد چسب در مقایسه با کلرید آمونیوم می‌گردد. بر اساس نتایج به‌دست‌آمده از بررسی‌های فیزیکی و مکانیکی تخته‌های تولیدی، افزودن 3 درصد پلی اسید بر پایه لیگنین موجب بهبود معنیدار مقاومتهای مکانیکی (چسبندگی داخلی، مدول‌الاستیسته و مقاومت خمشی) و پایداری ابعاد تخته خرده چوب میگردد.}, keywords_fa = {پلی اسید,کاتالیزور,چسب چوب,ویژگی‌های فیزیکی و مکانیکی,لیگنین}, url = {https://www.ijwp.ir/article_248505.html}, eprint = {https://www.ijwp.ir/article_248505_df21038fef2565af8c824b36dae6a6e4.pdf} }
