In the present study, poplar wood modified in canola oil (at 180, 200 and 220°C for 2 h) was cooled in the cold oil containing 0, 5 and 10% Bene gum (Pistacia atlantica) for 30 minutes. The weight gain percentage (WPG) of specimens ranged from 60.7 to 77.6 % and reduced by increasing in the modification temperature; however, the WPG increased as a result of cooling in the oil containing Bene gum. On the whole, cooling in in the oil containing Bene gum had no significant effect on the moisture exclusion and anti-swelling efficiencies whereas improved the water repellent efficiency. The results of dynamic contact angle measurement for 60 s also showed that cooling in the oil with Bene gum reduced more the wettability of the modified wood. Increasing the gum content from 5 to 10% had no significant effect on this property. As a result of adding the Bene gum in oil, the bending strength and compression strength parallel to grain were not changed but the impact resistance of the wood specimens modified at 180°C and modulus of elasticity of those modified at 220°C were improved. The results of ATR-FTIR showed that the peak intensity at wavenumber of 1745 cm-1 which is related to the stretching vibration of carbonyl group (C=O) was higher in the modified wood compared to the untreated wood probably due to the presence of oil in the modified wood.}, keywords = {oil heat treated wood,Bene gum,Physical and mechanical properties}, title_fa = {اثر استفاده از صمغ بنه برخواص فیزیکی و مکانیکی چوب روغن‌گرمایی شده}, abstract_fa = {روش خنک کردن چوب روغن گرمایی شده که در مرحله پایانی فرایند اصلاح حرارتی در روغن انجام می‌شود، می‌تواند بر ویژگی‌های چوب اصلاح شده تأثیرگذار باشد. در این تحقیق، چوب صنوبر دلتوئیدس اصلاح شده در روغن کلزا (در دماهای 180، 200 و 220 درجه سانتی‌گراد به مدت 2 ساعت) در روغن سرد حاوی صمغ بنه، Pistacia atlantica به مقدار 0، 5 و 10 درصد به مدت 30 دقیقه خنک شد. میزان افزایش وزن (WPG) نمونه‌ها در دامنه 7/60 الی 6/77 درصد متغیر بود و مقدار آن با افزایش دمای اصلاح کاهش یافت ولی در اثر خنک کردن در روغن حاوی صمغ بنه، بر مقدار آن افزوده شد. در مجموع، خنک کردن در روغن حاوی صمغ بنه تأثیر معنی‌داری بر کارائی ضد رطوبت و ضد واکشیدگی نداشت ولی موجب بهبود بازدارندگی جذب آب شد. نتایج اندازه‌گیری زاویه تماس دینامیک قطره آب طی مدت 60 ثانیه نیز نشان داد که خنک کردن در روغن حاوی صمغ بنه موجب کاهش بیشتر در نم‌پذیری چوب اصلاح شده می‌شود ولی افزایش مقدار صمغ از 5 به 10 درصد تأثیر معنی‌داری بر این ویژگی نداشت. در اثر افزودن صمغ بنه به روغن، مقاومت خمشی و مقاومت به فشار موازی الیاف چوب‌های اصلاح شده تغییر نکرد ولی مقاومت به ضربه نمونه‌های اصلاح شده در دمای 180 درجه سانتی-گراد و مدول الاستیسیته نمونه های اصلاح شده در دمای 220 درجه سانتی‌گراد بهبود یافت. نتایج طیف سنجی مادون قرمز (ATR-FTIR) نشان داد که به علت حضور روغن در چوب اصلاح شده، شدت جذب در عدد موجی cm-1 1745 که بیانگر ارتعاشی کششی غیرمزدوج گروه کربونیل C=O است، در چوب روغن گرمایی شده بسیار بیشتر از نمونه شاهد است.}, keywords_fa = {چوب روغن گرمایی شده,صمغ بنه,ویژگی های فیزیکی و مکانیکی}, url = {https://www.ijwp.ir/article_23449.html}, eprint = {https://www.ijwp.ir/article_23449_83bb764b0d40ca6c73220e2ef3f73755.pdf} }
